The quilted nylon lining ensures easy on and off, while the 80-gram 3M™ Thinsulate™ featherless insulation offers superior warmth without extra weight. The attached quilted three-piece hood with drawcord closure provides added protection against the elements. Functional design elements include a full-length brass front zipper, two interior pockets (one zippered, one hook and loop), and two large hand pockets with a pen stall in the right pocket.
For added comfort and movement, the jacket features elbow pleats and rib knit cuffs and waistband.
